HP has begun with the delivery of its WebOS smartphone, the Pre 3. The third aircraft from the Pre-series, which in 2009 was started by Palm is still not for sale in the Netherlands. The device first comes out in britain lwa.

The first customers will receive their devices this week, confirmed HP front fan site PreCentral. The unit is for the moment only unlock to get to various merchants and will probably only later by providers are sold. HP announced the Pre 3 in February, during a private event.

The Pre 3 has a 3.6″display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The processor is from Qualcomm and is clocked at 1.4 GHz. Supposedly it goes to the MSM8655T, a processor that is similar to the commonly used MSM8255 recent smartphones like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and the HTC Desire HD. The processor is singlecore-cpu on the basis of Qualcomms Scorpion core.

The Pre 3 runs on a new version of WebOS, the software HP last year with the acquisition of Palm in the hands. The smartphone will be available later this year in the United States come true, but a release in the Netherlands is not for the hand: Palm brings, for some years, not devices more in the Netherlands and has no channels of distribution and more.
