Intel would be the Sandy Bridge E-series, the upcoming generation of processors for high-end systems based on the Sandy Bridge architecture, without bundled processor fan assembly want to sell. Would an Intel-cooler available separately.

The current Gulftown processors, which is the highest consumer segment must operate with the hexacores Core i7-980X and i7-990X, the E-series Sandy Bridge processors will be followed. These new processors, which Intel compared to AMD’s Bulldozer processors, should in the short term, are introduced. Other than would normally Intel hexa – and quadcores, however, without a cooler to deliver: the user must have adequate cooling to ensure.

According to VR-Zone, the quad-core Core i7-3820 and the hexacores i7-3930K and i7-3960X bald be delivered. Having regard to the intended buyers of the E-series wouldn’t be illogical: overclockers and gamers which cpu to buy, would, in all likelihood, any bundled cooler, not even from the packaging. A more powerful cooler that by a third party is made, is a logical choice.

Intel would be cooler for the E series are known to sell them separately. Koelerfabrikanten serve for the introduction of their own production in order to have: existing coolers may not be on motherboards for the Sandy Bridge E-series to be mounted. The new socket lga2011 is a lot bigger than the current sockets and requires a new fastening mechanism.

Incidentally, would an air cooler according to VR-Zone, barely sufficient to permit the E-series cooling. The Intel specified tdp of the processors is indeed 130W, but the cpu’s would be a lot more devoid. Who wants to overclock would also be better for water cooling. According to previously published rumors would Intel even consider, just like AMD with its Bulldozer FX processors, water cooling.
