Twisted Metal is rolled over to 2012

David Jaffe, founder of developer Eat Sleep Play, leave via the PlayStation Blog know that the remake of Twisted Metal is delayed. The game will not appear in October this year, as was previously indicated, but only comes out in 2012.

Jaffe tries on the official PlayStation Blog have a turn to give that there is also positive news, but his main message is that Twisted Metal is rolled over to 2012. There says he not beat around the bush: “We’ll ship Twisted Metal, not on October 4, 2011. We go on our date, miss,” admits Jaffe. A reason for the delay gives the co-founder of developer Eat Sleep Play is not.

The good news is that Jaffe in the blog mentions, is that the game this month is playable on two scholarships. Who wants to, can from 17 to 21 August, visit the GamesCom in Cologne from 26 to 28 August at PAX in Seattle. Twisted Metal is the eighth game in a long-running series. Jaffe made with developer SingleTrac, the first part already in 1996. The original version of the racing and shooting game appeared for the first PlayStation and for the pc. The new version appears to be only for the PlayStation 3.
