D66 does not want to inspect US in European servers

D66 is not happy that the Us authorities can access in Europe placed the servers of American companies. That access also has consequences for companies that special ‘European’ cloud services offering.

Earlier this week, Microsoft admitted that it could not guarantee that the Us authorities access to European Microsoft servers would be denied. D66 is not pleased with it, reports Computerworld. The party wants that the minister of Justice to ensure that the Us authorities no longer have access to data on European servers. The party has, with that purpose, Questions asked.

The ability for U.s. authorities to European servers of Us companies a look around, makes ‘European’ cloud services, in fact, a sham. Such services are offered by companies like Rackspace and Microsoft, and are intended specifically to correct data under the European jurisdiction. Governments and other organizations with sensitive data to want to, or may often not foreign cloud services to use, because the authorities from that country can access the data that are stored.
