The E3-Tuesday stood in the sign of the last two press conferences, with Sony and Nintendo with information, sprinkled, and of the first ever fair-hours. We were especially impressed with Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.

This blog may be ‘Nintendo, and Sony are called, but that press conferences were not my highlights. Yes, I also was under the impression from Nintendo, that’s just a very strong press conference has dropped. About Sony, I was a little less enthusiastic; the middle section, with lots of Move – and PSP-games, it took a little too long. Bright spots were Killzone 3, especially in 3d, and the announcement of the new Twisted Metal. On that last series, I have excellent memories – so but come, who clowns with their ‘carnival of carnage’!

My highlights of today were the first presentations in the exhibition itself. In three words: PES is back! Konami showed last year his fans a bit in the stitch by again Pro Evolution Soccer release on the market where not much was changed. There were some improvements, but not enough, and FIFA 10 was easily the best football game. Or FIFA 11 again this year, so easy win? Certainly not! PES 2011 is fi-na-lly the game that Konami is already for years the fans of the series promises. You recognize the game back: it is slower, the animations are strong, and the game introduces a number of gameplay elements that I as a breath of fresh air I’ve experienced it.

I have the booth of Electronic Arts visited. In the first place for that zipper to top-class games that EA added to the pile, but also to directly after PES 2011 quick FIFA 11 to play, to be the difference once again feel good. And yes, this game plays wonderfully. It is apparent that we are coming to autumn not one, but two solid football games for our choosing. That seems to me for the “neutral gamer” only good – I’m already looking forward to it!

Previously had Sony extended announced that the high would put on Move and 3d, while Microsoft had already hinted that this year in the sign of Kinect. Nintendo was advance, as often, a lot more modest, though it was already known that the 3DS would show. There were also rumors about a new Zelda game for the Wii. After all those rumors in advance, I had the highest expectations for the 3DS. Kinect is fun and Move well, and what the best system is yet to be discovered. But 3d is, of course, totally hot, now that the first 3d tvs appear on the market. Publishers are going more and more to make their games for 3d viewing. If the game on the PlayStation 3 appears, at least, because Microsoft is still somewhat behind the three-dimensional facts. The major drawback of this first generation of 3d tvs, of course, is that there has to be looked at by the now well-known sluiterbrilletjes. The system works well and is much better than the old-fashioned green-and-red glasses, but it remains a disadvantage that you can a pair of glasses on your nose.

Nintendo now tells me with the 3DS, a new version of the handheld that is equipped with a 3d screen without special glasses can be viewed, and that is the real work. Who wants to have a pair of glasses as you also without of 3d can enjoy? There are even adult tv on the market that 3d can give without need glasses. So today I took The Blob Underground seen on such tv. For such big screens still not working so well – the image was very grainy – but the small screen of the 3DS is the effect very nice. The image is very sharp. But Nintendo had more in store. Thus, it is very nice that the top screen is not only 3d, but also widescreen.

Furthermore, it is surprising that the handheld a third camera has been given. On the outside of the lid are two cameras next to each other, that 3d photos can be made. I am very curious what developer there is a nice application for know to invent. I am also curious to see what developers are going to create for the Slidepad, the new button on the console. Anyway: Nintendo the 3DS a device on the market that developers very interesting new options, and I’m very curious to see what the next few years for fun on to deliver.
