The Dutch version of Wikipedia celebrates on Saturday that the ten years. It is Sunday, exactly ten years ago that the first articles appeared online. The Dutch version has become the ninth-largest Wikipedia.
Wikimedia, the organisation behind the Dutch Wikipedia, celebrates the tenth anniversary Saturday afternoon with a party in Den Bosch. The Dutch Wikipedia is one of the larger versions of the online encyclopedia. There are now almost 700,000 articles on to find, according to the stats page.
