As a replacement of my “Acer Aspire Timeline 4810TG” went in search of a cheap 14 inch laptop. This should not be much more expensive than lwa 400, had
at least 4 GB RAM and 500 GB of storage capacity. The laptop did not have Full HD screen.

For lwa 400 and in the area of 14-inch there are a few options, but if you have 4 GB of RAM want to have and also around 500 GB of memory will have the range to quickly becoming scarce.
The (slightly) “faster” 14 inch laptops are soon in the price range around the lwa 800.

The largest offer has only 2 GB of RAM, and often in combination with 32 GB SSD or 500GB HDD.

This laptop was actually the only one that with its 4 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD, an exception was made. An SSD is probably a lot faster, but have no devices with SSD in use and therefore knows not what I miss.

For the money you get a lot of laptop that against my expectations, not so cheap to the touch. Compared to my older laptop feels the build quality of this laptop is even better on (screen was very broke) and that while the Aspire Timeline, at the time, yet in the more expensive price range (lwa 700) fell.

Hardware specs;
CPU: Intel Celeron 2957U clocked at 1.4 Ghz,
GPU: Intel HD Graphics with 1024 MB
RAM: 4 GB DDR3 RAM at 800Mhz
HDD: WD Blue 1 TB HDD 5400rpm.

This laptop meets not, of course, for the heavier tasks, but with the supplied “Windows 10 Home x64”, it is a great laptop it takes to to surfing, office e.d. By the 1 TB HDD you already have all your data with you instead of everything in the cloud should hang because of your limited storage capacity.

The laptop feels nice and smooth, starts quickly and has no trouble with the playback of videos (youtube e.d.).

Sound the laptop also barely. Sometimes you hear the HDD quietly do the work for you and close to you can hear ‘m buzzing, but from a normal distance, you hear nothing.

The battery life is excellent for normal tasks (surfing, email, office), but once you get on youtube you can see the effect directly on the battery.
