OnePlus has so far half a million copies sold of his One-smartphone. That has a co-founder, said in an interview. This fall the sell is still in the not that of the great Chinese smartphonefabrikanten.

In the next two months does OnePlus still have a half a million copies of the OnePlus One sales, according to a interview with one of the co-founders on the site of Forbes. OnePlus sells the One only since this summer.

OnePlus sells its One devices via an invite system, where customers need a code to the device to buy. The controversial system last week, just released so everyone pre-orders could be placed, but when the invite system is definitively rejected, is as yet unknown.

The manufacturer currently produces only the 64GB version of the smartphone, says the co-founder in the interview. Or the 16GB variant, which is a few tens less cost, in the future, still in production, is unknown. The 64GB version costs in the Netherlands for 299 euro.

OnePlus sells the One with a margin of up to ten dollars, so says the co-founder; that is converted up to around 7,50 euro. There would be more profits are made on the accessories. Also on the OnePlus in the future, more profit.

With half a million copies in about five months, the sales of OnePlus is still in the not that of other Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Lenovo, CoolPad, ZTE and Huawei, each of which is in that period at least twenty times as many phones have sold.
