Rumor: Android 5.0-update for existing Nexus devices is the 12th of november

The Android 5.0 update for the existing Nexus devices like the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7, according to a new rumor out on 12 november. Google would have some bugs to solve before the update with Android Lollipop to users offers.

The update was originally scheduled for release this week, but Google has that with about a week left-shifted, reports Android Police founder Artem Russakovskii on Google+ as a comment on his own post. He bases this on an unnamed source. Android Police is known for publishing accurate information about unreleased Google products and software.

The expectation was that Android 5.0 Lollipop for existing Nexus devices last Monday would come out of it, because when the new Nexus 9 in the sale went and the first copies of the Nexus 6 would be delivered. Any bugs in the release have been stopped, reports Russakovskii not.

Google announced Android 5.0 in June as Android L, and it gave last month of more details. With the new version of the os will get Android many new features and functions, such as notifications on the lockscreen, and a design that Google describes as ‘material design’. Google has in recent weeks, many apps have already updated with ‘material design’, such as the Play Store, Calendar, and Gmail. Android 5.0 is coming out for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and the Nexus 10.
