KPN completes sale of foreign Getronics-parts

KPN has the January announced sale of its it service provider Getronics International was completed. The Dutch branch, which last year was renamed to KPN Corporate Market, falls outside of the deal and is still in the hands of KPN.

Getronics International is in two parts sold; Getronics Europe and APAC are now in the hands of the German company Aurelius, even if KPN is still a minority interest. Getronics LATAM is in its entirety sold to the investment company OpenGate Capital. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Had KPN already know that with the acquisition no jobs would be lost.

In August of last year, KPN is already known in the Netherlands to say goodbye to the brand Getronics, thus the name, from October last year until the past belonged. KPN announced at the time of the activities of the company under his own name, to continue. The sale has no consequences for the former Getronics activities in the Netherlands: the branch remains part of KPN, called KPN Corporate Market.
