Company introduces rugged smartphone with Android and Windows

The company Winmate has a device announced that Android 2.3, Windows CE 6.0 and Windows Mobile 6.5 as the operating system can run. It is a rugged device, which is resistant to shock and water.

With the IP 67 certification, should the housing of the Winmate S430T are resistant to dust and is even water to a depth of one meter is no problem. In addition, the unit must have a fall of over a metre without effort be able to endure.

In the case running an Omap3530 processor from Texas Instruments at a clock speed of 720MHz. The display diagonal is 4.3 inches and the resolution is 800×480 pixels. There are ten hardware buttons on board, but there is no full qwerty keyboard; text input through the touchscreen.
