Currently, some of the current SSD flagships from Adata, Crucial, Samsung and Western Digital are particularly cheap. The Adata Gammix S70 and the Crucial P5 Plus, each with 1 TB, cost only 100 euros. And the Samsung 980 Pro and WD Black SN850 with twice the storage space cost less than 200 euros.

The table below shows the current minimum prices in a price comparison for availability “ex stock”. As usual, the models with 1 TB and 2 TB of storage space per gigabyte are significantly cheaper than the respective 500 GB version. The editors have tested all the SSDs mentioned and found them to be good; the respective test is linked by the product name.

Who now However, if you want to strike, you should keep in mind that successors to some flagships are already in the starting blocks. The WD Black SN850X with PCIe 4.0 only provides a small performance update. However, Samsung 990 Pro and Corsair MP700 already belong to the new generation with PCIe 5.0 and are expected for autumn.
