Foreign. Elon Musk warns of escalation between the US and Russia. He is concerned about American plans to arm Kyiv to try to conquer the Crimean peninsula, which is an annexed part of Russia. Ultimately, world peace is threatened, according to Musk.

U.S. officials are discussing with their Ukrainian counterparts the use of offensive U.S. weapons, such as HIMARS missiles and Bradley fighting vehicles, to possibly attack the Crimean peninsula.
Musk, however, says a relentless escalation would be very risky for both Ukraine and the world.
While the US is calling on Ukraine to surrender Bakhmut (Artyomovsk), there are plans for a “spring offensive” that would target deep into Russian territory.

Musk, who supplies the Ukrainian army with satellitecommunicationsequipment as part of his Starlink project, noted that Russia views Crimea as an integral part of its territory, and attempts to seize it could trigger a nuclear war.
Ukraine's former ambassador in Berlin, Andrey Melnik, has criticized Musk for his proposal that Crimea should remain part of Russia.
Elon Musk has previously called on the Americans to let Ukraine redo the Russian elections in the annexed regions under the UN island vigilance, and withdraw from the area if that is what the people want.
