New Java version available as release candidate

Oracle has a first release candidate of Java SE 7 to be released. A b lwa taversie was already available and the final version is at the end of July expected. Java SE 7 is the first major update to Java since the end of 2006.

Java Standard Edition 7 is probably on the 28th of July, but now the first release candidate already be downloaded. A beta version was already available. What’s new in Java SE 7, support for dynamic scripting languages such as Ruby. These languages could all be used in the Java Virtual Machine, but in the new release must be non-Java languages substantially better performance.

Also contains Java SE 7 better support for processors with more than one core and there is a new api for file operations, faster access to the file system. Java SE 7 also has a number of new features.

Expertpanellid Misja Alma calls the new version of Java, a version that is very long to wait and that only a limited number of improvements it brings’. Fellow panel member and developer Jan Willem Harmelink calls the improvements “not earth-shattering, but very welcome’. “I’m going to them in the near future a lot of use,” said Harmelink. He signs that Oracle is many planned features pushed to version 8.
