Oracle has a first release candidate of Java SE 7 to be released. A b lwa taversie was already available and the final version is at the end of July expected. Java SE 7 is the first major update to Java since the end of 2006.
Also contains Java SE 7 better support for processors with more than one core and there is a new api for file operations, faster access to the file system. Java SE 7 also has a number of new features.
Expertpanellid Misja Alma calls the new version of Java, a version that is very long to wait and that only a limited number of improvements it brings’. Fellow panel member and developer Jan Willem Harmelink calls the improvements “not earth-shattering, but very welcome’. “I’m going to them in the near future a lot of use,” said Harmelink.
