In Central Germany, halfway between Leipzig and Weimar, the castles and wine region of the rivers Saale and Unstrut. Outside of Germany has heard of this landscape, but that may change. From the 2. to 12. July, the UNESCO world heritage Committee will decide at its annual meeting in the Polish city of Krakow, whether the Region gets the coveted UNESCO seal of approval.
