“Afterlight” is available as a free Download available for Android. Some filters and effects, however, must be via an In-App-purchase to purchase. For iOS there is a paid Version of the application that we have left, however, for our Test.

“Afterlight” is a relatively comprehensive photo editing app – classic editing tools to be found here, as well as Preset filters and effects. In comparison to other, similar Apps, there are of the latter, although many, but by the Bank with attractive, relatively natural-looking results. Particularly impressed we were from the “Light Leak”effects of the App. The user interface is appealing and easy to read and also for Beginners easy to understand.

However, the application for our taste has some weakness: photos during the editing does not increase – with the result that you as a user less control over the final result. In addition, the possibility to compare the current processing step of the Original is missing. And the customization options of the actually beautiful Leak-effects are, unfortunately, limited.

The overall impression after light, “” we have, therefore, a rather mixed impression – even if the App is quite nice results.
