The former German Olympic rider, the horse, Klaphake for almost two years very successfully is: Catch me if you can, a ten-year-old Mare brings, in spite of her young age for a jumping horse best plants.

“Catch me if you can is a great horse with a big heart, which enters always there for me,” says Klaphake, who won their riding’s first European championship medal at the age of 14 years in the Pony show jumping. “She is incredibly strong from the head. In between, it can sometimes of other things to impress, but I have the feeling that if it is important, focused.”

If everything stays as it is, it is a very hot candidate for the team at the world Cup.” The world equestrian games will be held in September in Tryon in the United States.

Great ambition and good time management

That’s why I use every free second. Sometimes I’m maybe a little bit of time for me. My parents are trying to put the brakes on me a bit. But time management is the key.”

In spite of your sporting height of flight and the many praises she is experiencing, know Klaphake assess your Situation: “The Sport brings back a again and again very quickly on the bottom of the facts. Because you have to remain realistic. Today, Top tomorrow, the Flop – this is happening in equestrian sports is, unfortunately, quite quickly.”

Also you even don’t know how to do it in the more distant future, especially since you can’t control what happens with your best horse. “It is the deal that I can ride a horse, Catch me if you can until next year,” says Klaphake. “At the end of this year we will get together with Paul Schockemöhle and see how it goes.” Again and again it is speculated that the Mare may be sold. Their value is increased as a result of the sportive success in any case.

The national coach, Otto Becker, however, no major Concerns: “Basically, I see your cavalry, and the whole Management is very positive. Of course, the horse belongs to, but she has also had success with other horses,” says Becker of the DW. “She is a Horsewoman who is hardworking, meticulous, has the necessary Talent for a long career.
