Computergigant HP is itself split into two separate listed companies, as the company has confirmed. One of the two new companies focus on business it infrastructure; the other on computers, laptops, and printers.
The business arm of HP, which includes servers, storage systems and commercial it services, will be renamed Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. That branch will Meg Whitman at the helm, who at this time still the ceo of HP. Dion Weisler, now ceo at HP, in charge of the pc and printertak. As a result of the demerger, hitting another five-thousand people their jobs lost.
HP has a few bright years behind the bow, in which the company multiple times people had to dismiss. Currently, a huge reorganization going on, but that seems not enough result. It is a source of The Wall Street Journal much better with the branch for business than the pc – and printertak of HP. As separate businesses, the divisions are better able to concentrate on their market.
