IBM for an undisclosed amount, the American security firm Lighthouse Security Group was acquired. With the acquisition wants to be the American it giant’s position in the security software market on the basis of identity management to improve.

The American Lighthouse provides, among other Gateway, an identity and access management package that cloud-based systems can run. With Gateway, companies and governments the access to services and applications. Gateway and other security products from Lighthouse, according to IBM included in its existing security products, which mainly focus on securing cloud environments.
