According to Sony, the software is currently not suitable for daily use.

The release of the Android 4.3 software for the Sony-devices comes a short time after Google itself, Android 4.3 announced and the source code posted online. Usually it takes at least a few months before manufacturers software to make them suitable for their devices. Incidentally, works Sony on official Android 4.3 updates for its smartphones and tablets, where the company has indicated that the Xperia devices Z, ZL, ZR, SP, Z Ultra and Tablet Z have an update. Also some other devices that now have Android 4.1 to run will be provided with an update. The official updates will be as usual with Sony’s own customizations to the Android software.

Google announced Android 4.3 24th July, and started immediately with the roll-out to its own Nexus devices. Manufacturers such as HTC and Samsung have already indicated that Android 4.3 updates will release for their devices, although it is still unclear what exactly will have an update.
