Nokia works, according to a new rumor of a Lumia phone with 6″screen. The largest screen on a Windows Phone device from Nokia up to now is 4.5″. The higher resolution for Windows Phone would this reuzentelefoon.
The big phone would be the end of this year is due to be released, reports Mobile Magazine on the basis of its own resources. The magazine had an interview with cfo Timo Ihamuotila. Often, it is an appeal to anonymous sources in the interview itself, a sign that the interviewee has said something that to him should be attributed, but to the public.
The rumor is not completely new: earlier, it was that information already to the top, but it is the first time that a screen diagonal to the reuzentelefoon is linked. The reuzentelefoon seems this year a new genre to be. Huawei brings the Ascend Mate 6.1″-screen this summer, Samsung brings Galaxy Mega 6.3 with a 6.3″screen. Sony is said to be manufacturer later this year with a model with 6,44″screen.
Due to the larger screens of such phones are much broader than is now customary. Many of the expensive models are now sitting around a width of 70mm, the reuzentelefoons Ascend Mate and Galaxy Mega are, respectively, 86 and 88mm wide.
If Nokia the reuzentelefoon the same design as its current Lumia’s, the dimensions come in at 173x88mm. The reuzentelefoon would be possible, because Windows Phone starting this fall, full-hd-scenes would support. That is now not the case: the maximum resolution is 1280×768 pixels.
