Google has a new version of the Play Store was released for Android devices. The new app has a revamped interface, but no new functionality. Previously leaked, this version of the Play store already.
On his blog, Google announced that the new Play version per direct is rolled out to owners of an Android device. Therefore, the user must also at least have version 2.2 of the mobile operating system. It may take several weeks before any user worldwide the new version of Play, that number 4.0 has, on his smartphone or tablet.
The most important change of the new interface is the emphasis on larger images. Also, Google has recommendations for apps improved and the purchasing process are easier. In addition to the interface for applications have the parts for other content, such as audio, video and books, also a redesign. These parts of the Play are however in the Netherlands not yet available.
Previously leaked already an installation file of Play 4.0. As a result, large parts of the new interface is already known. The installation file was, however, not released for download, so users could install.
