Together with waterkoelingsfabrikant EKwaterblocks has PowerColor a water cooler designed for AMD’s Radeon HD 7970 graphics card. The cooler is provided in combination with a manufacturer-overclocked 7970 graphics card.
The video card is manufactured by TUL Corperation, better known under the brand PowerColor. The PowerColor LCS HD7970 video card, which LCS for Liquid Cooling System, like other 7970 cards on a gpu with 2048 streamprocessors. PowerColor provides preloaded, however, for an overclock to 1050MHz for the gpu and 1425MHz for the memory. By default, that is, respectively, 925 and 1375MHz clocked.
According to PowerColor, the card thanks to the water cooling extra overklokpotentieel. The cooler was developed by EKwaterblocks, that PowerColor often work together for waterkoelingsproducten. The block can be on hoses with an internal diameter of 3/8″ and 1/2″ are connected. Different adapters for the connectors are included.
