The Japanese publisher Capcom has Resident Evil 6 announced. The youngest member of the survival-horrorfranchise will on 20 november 2012, released for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The pc version will appear at a later time.
Resident Evil 6 takes place ten years after the first biological attack in which a zombie outbreak was caused, as was Capcom on Thursday announced. According to the publisher, that means Resident Evil 6 is a huge step forward for the series, all is there except the setting, not much about the game known. Capcom has indicated that ‘within the foreseeable future’ to provide more information about the characters in the game and the cooperative game mode that Resident Evil 6 will offer.
Resident Evil 6 will be main characters Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield, both known from previous Resident Evil games, in different parts of the world against the zombies, who after ten years and several outbreaks gradually the whole world in their grip. Kennedy is there to witness how the president of America become the victim of a bio-attack, while Redfield is in China also every time surprised by a bio-attack and a new zombie outbreak.
The Resident Evil franchise has been around since 1996 and runs to the battle, that one or a few main characters deliver against hordes of zombies to life. Resident Evil 6 is the twenty second game in the franchise, which in Japan is known under the name Biohazard.
