Nokia introduces Asha-budgettelefoons

Nokia has at London’s Nokia World conference, a new line of phones for emerging markets, ge lwa site. It comes to four devices with physical keyboards, all on Nokia’s S40 operating system to run.

The new line, Asha baptized, which, in Hindi, ‘hope’ means. India is one of the countries where the Finnish manufacturer with the new equipment. The company brings four different Asha devices from: the 200, the 201, the 300 and the 303. All new aircraft are equipped with a physical keyboard and run on the S40 platform.

The Asha 303 has a capacitive 2,6″touchscreen and a physical qwerty keyboard. The device is powered by a 1GHz processor and has support for 3G and wi-fi. The 303 this year have come true and 115 euros in costs. The Asha 300 has the same processor and also features a touch screen, but has a numeric keypad. The price is 85 euro slightly lower.

The Asha 201 and 200 are both qwerty phones without touch functionality. The two devices are almost identical, only supports the 201 two sim cards. With these two sets, the manufacturer of the heavy emphasis on the music player; they would on a single battery charge 52 hours of music playback, and according to Nokia feature kwaliteitsspeakers. The 200 and 201 have early 2012 release and will be respectively 60 and 65 euros in costs.
