Comment: Here I sit and can’t help it
Angela Merkel’s refugee policy is considered by many as a failure. But the Chancellor is arguing for your Position. And the last word is not spoken yet, says Barbara Wesel.
Angela Merkel sitting in the Talk-Show chair Anne Wants to fight in the First German television and. Their refugee policy, because it considers logical and correct what she’s doing. She’s fighting for the political center of the country, the cohesion of the EU, the victory of reason above the hysteria. And, of course, fighting for her office and her political legacy. The otherwise cool-looking Angela Merkel, developed almost something of a passion, and it shows how serious it is in order to defend its policy against the concentrated criticism from his own party, the new Right and Parts of the media.
Merkel says that it introduces no arbitrary upper limits for the reception of asylum seekers, as does the Austrian government. And you don’t just close the German borders to curb the flow of asylum seekers and the burden to the neighbors. You have to help the Greeks now, calls you so.

Also, the Chancellor has not given up the very tedious search for a consensus in Europe, what is perhaps the most difficult part of their task. Alone for this set and their steadfastness, Angela Merkel deserves the Nobel peace prize, the beatification and the prayers of the greens in baden-württemberg’s Minister President Winfried Kretschmann. Seriously: We should be glad to know that you can’t be swayed.
Effort of practical politics
On the practical level, the lives for the Chancellor is far more difficult. The attempt to curb the immigration of refugees with the help of Turkey, a bit Desperate and may well go wrong.
