“Gigabyte shows Brix mini-pcs with Intel Broadwell U-processors”

Gigabyte has the Brix desktops announced that with Intel’s new mobile Broadwell processors are equipped. It comes to models with Core You processors with HD Graphics 5500 gpu’s on board.

Gigabyte has its Brix line of mini-pcs an update with Broadwell processors. The series consists of two sets of three models: three Brix s models with thickness of 46.8 mm and three Brix variants of 33.9 mm thick. The series are equipped with a Core i3-5010U, Core i5-5200U and i7-5500U. The mobile chips with the HD Graphics 5500, tdp of 15W. Brix systems with Broadwell processor with a tdp of 28W and more powerful Iris Graphics 6100 gpu are still there. The models with Core i7 support, incidentally, nfc.

The Brix systems are furthermore equipped with two so-dimm slots for up to 16GB of ddr3 memory and an msata connector for storage. There is also a pci-e slot but that is occupied by an m2 NGFF 2230 card that supports wi-fi ac and bluetooth 4.0. To the front of the Brix models are two usb 3.0 ports and the audio jack on the back panel hdmi, mini-displayport, a duo of usb 3.0 ports, and gigabitethernet.

The prices of the mentioned models are not yet known.
