Apple has the prices for the private Developer Program for iOS and Mac with a 20 euro increased. Developers now have to 99 euros per year to pay in order to use the service.

The price increase for the development would in silence have been made, for example, the German Apfelpage noted. Where developers first 79 euro per year paid, is that amount increased to 99 euro per year. In the United States is no price increase reported. Developers still need to $ 99 per year payment, equivalent to about 82 euros.

The development program for iOS and Mac is designed for individual developers, but is also aimed at businesses. Customers can use the software apps to develop and then distribute via the Apple App Store. In addition, developers have access to software that has not yet been officially issued and they can take advantage of technical support.

It is unclear why the increase in Europe was made. Possible it has to do with the exchange rate, writes 9to5Mac. A year ago there was a euro at 1.36 dollars worth, that’s now dropped to around 1,21 dollars.
