BBC brings iPlayer for iPad in the Netherlands

The BBC has the international version of its iPlayer app released. The app runs exclusively on iPad tablets. The onlinevideodienst is now also in the Netherlands to approach, as well as in ten other European countries.

For the use of the onlinevideodienst asks the BBC 6,99 euro per month (or 49,99 euro for an annual subscription. A selection of old and new series for the monthly period of thirty days to be considered. This design differs from the Uk iPlayer version, which programs and series from the last seven days can be viewed. Also has the international version as an extra, the ability to episodes on the tablet to download. Also for the downloads applies probably the limit of thirty days.

Except in the Netherlands, will make the subscription service available in Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Ireland. The international version is still a trial with a duration of one year. The international iPlayer app is via the App Store to download and install.

Just as with the British version of the iPlayer app, subscribers with access to BBC programmes across eight genres. The tv-offer within the iPlayer app includes both old and new series, including Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf, The Young Ones, Top Gear, Dr Who and Little Britain.
