This is my first review on Tweakers, so I hope that a little is good, etc.

Unfortunately, after 1.5 years, our Philips home-cinema piece. According to Philips service was the “gebruikersschade” and would cost around the lwa 400 come true to make. I found the quality of the Philips is terrible and therefore going to look at another soundbar/Home cinema.

In the Media market to a number of listened to the Bose Solo 5 gone because for the price the best sounded.

in the box
the soundbar itself, a universal remote control, optical + coax cables, Adapter, manuals

Nice that Bose all cables supplies so you will not need all cables need to go buy.

Installation
The installation was a breeze, you put the plug in the wall outlet and the adapter into the soundbar and the coaxial cable into the tv.

The universal remote control needs a little more time. Especially if you still do not completely understand how it works. But the manual clearly indicates how to do this. I read in many reviews that the remote control would not work with the interactive tv receiver from Kpn. But for me, it works flawlessly.

build quality
The build quality is fine, the soundbar feels sturdy because of the metal speakergrill and the plastic at the top. all connections are located deep in the soundbar, so if you see him hanging up the connections still accessible.

Connections
The soundbar has an optical + coaxial jack. there is also an Aux port for example, an old mp3 player to connect. The soundbar also features Bluetooth. It works fine on my Oneplus One and Hp Elitebook.

Sound quality
I had in the shop already, I listened but it was a surprise how at home he would sound. According to many reviews there would be very little bass in it so my expectations were not really big. It strikes me is really how he sounds.
The high tones are bright, which is nice for the tv to be able to understand if there is a lot of talk. But yet there is a fine bass. Of course you have no solid bass expect from e.g. a 2.1 set. But for watching tv it is fine.
With music where a lot of bass (Dubstep, Dance, etc. ) do you miss that bass a little. The speaker distorts quite at loud volume. So 90% you will notice that the speaker begins to crack. This can be a disadvantage if you have a party going, but for just watching tv, this is not a problem.

Conclusion
For lwa 250 you will have a nice soundbar with excellent sound and many features
