That is not a space ship out of the Nebula-class in the background. No, this is the International Space Station with a space capsule – and a proud Italian astronaute who himself has dressed up as a character from Star Trek.

The astronaute is called Sam Cristoforetti and live since november in the space station. Last Friday, she saw how the Dragon space capsule arrived at the ISS, on board, circa 1950 pounds of food, scientific equipment and more. Notable: the capsule SpaceX also contained the first space espresso machine, the ISSPresso.

“There’s coffee in that Nebula. Ehm, I mean… in that Dragon”, tweeted Cristoforetti merry. On the picture of the astronaute accompanied with her tweet, let them see that they have a uniform bore from Star Trek: Voyager. The quote that they also wrote, comes from the episode the Cloud.

Cristoforetti has long been known as a Star Trek fan. The Italian tweette earlier a photo that showed how they make the Vulcan greeting brought. This she did after the death of Leonard Nimoy, known as Spock.
