Samsung sells 710.000 Smart TVS in Europe in a quarter

Samsung has in three months worldwide 2 million copies of his new tv’s with internet access were sold. In Europe, sales 710.000 pcs. Samsung wants this year to 45 million tv’s sales, 12 percent more than last year.

Samsung introduced its new tv line in January, but in march came the models available. Samsung is in a fierce battle with, among others, LG and Sony in order to gain market share with internet tvs. Manufacturers hope the extra income to get a platform for internet tv among other apps to sell and videos to rent. Samsung has about 600 applications for its Smart TV platform, writes the Korea Times.
