The successor of the HTC One (M8) has, like the M8 a full-hd screen with a diagonal of 5″. That claims to be the Chinese ‘telefoonlekker’ UpLeaks. HTC would be the Ultrapixel camera in exchange for a 20,7-megapixel camera, presumably Sony.

The successor of the One (M8) has the codename Himare and revolves according to UpLeaks on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810-soc. That is a octacore with four Cortex A57 cores at 2Ghz and four Cortex A53 cores at 1.7 GHz. The gpu in that soc is an Adreno 430 Qualcomm itself.

That HTC at the Himare could have opted for a screen with full-hd resolution, is different. Many other manufacturers opt for a higher resolution screen. LG did that with G3, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that has the resolution, and Google and Motorola in the Nexus 6 also a QHD screen.

According to UpLeaks, the camera has a maximum resolution of 20.7 megapixels. The only known smart phone camera with that resolution is of Sony, who has himself since a year, used in its Xperia Z-series. The Chinese ‘telefoonlekker’ gives no definitive resolution for the front camera. The One (M8) has a front-facing camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels, the more recent Desire Eye has a 13-megapixel camera on the front.

The battery would have a capacity of 2840mAh, slightly larger than the 2600mAh battery in the One (M8). HTC would aim the unit in march to present. The manufacturer showed of its One (M8) this year at the end of march. There are still no pictures of Himare. UpLeaks was previously the one who first images and specs of the Desire Eye posted online; the site often publishes about HTC products.
