Several organizations have a lawsuit filed against the Dutch state. They require the massive storage of, inter alia, location information and browsing behavior of all Dutch people immediately stopped, reports NRC handelsblad Saturday.
The organizations that the kort geding proceedings, the Dutch Association of Defence counsel, journalistenvakbond municipality of leiden and the stichting Privacy First. In addition, it would also isp BIT at the collective add and consider other telco’s to do the same, according to NRC.
The organizations demand that the Dutch authorities immediately stop the massive store of location information and the internet, e-mail and the way they are used of the Dutch. According to the Dutch Association of Defence counsel considers the government’s conflict with the European Court of Justice this year ruled that the save the dates in a heavy privacy violation.
Now need to providers the way they are used and the internet use of Dutch for a period of six months to a year to save, in the opinion of the Dutch government. But earlier this week signed the Bit of Freedom that current regulations are not valid, because that is contrary to international rules.
