Score: 4

Because I am a student am I could be around July this with discount to purchase in the Microsoft store. Fortunately, because it was a decent price. Finally, I have the type cover is also purchased and put together, I was 920 euros.

The delivery time was much faster than indicated on the site. Seemingly is the DC of Microsoft in the Netherlands, because I had my surface within 3 business days already.

At home were the first experiences well. On the surface pro is Windows 8.1 pro under the lwa installed and if the surface for the first time to do is there seemed to updates, and set everything in. This is simple steps given and you are in no time ready to be busy.

It has a beautiful screen, and the surface looks luxurious. It does seem that the volume and power button a little looser to sit in while this is not the case. Movies play there fine, and bright, simple games are playable. You can very well be the 2 movies before the battery is empty, if you have nothing in the background.

After the summer, started school, and I came across multiple places where I need internet. Hereby I noticed that the Wi-fi not to ‘eduroam’ (university network) wanted to connect. If this covenant, I got a DNS error. I was along the ICT has been, and that couldn’t solve my problem. I have follow the Microsoft support gebelt and did not know what the problem could be. After a time I googled came I was on a forum where someone told you that you the Wi-fi chip from ‘automatic’ (2.4 and 5 GHz) to 2.4 GHz only ” had to convert. From this moment I had internet everywhere. I am sorry that there in such an expensive product, a Wi-fi chip is that you cannot fully exploit. I have no job because I the surface can’t miss. Also after the upgrade to Windows 10 this problem is still present.

Further: great device. Very easy to take, the ultimate office experience. The battery lasts for the whole day (provided you only with school, busy).
The office package through the school and in conjunction with Onedrive, you can really not more than 64 gb. The stylus works well and I use it often, with chemicals. However, in office 2016, it crashes word if you are often on the delete button. However, this is very annoying.

The type cover works wonderfully and if you don’t have to put you somewhere else down. In my experience, the best keyboard I have a laptop I’ve had (Though if this is also for lwa 150).

I would this product still recommend it? For students? Maybe, bear in mind that the Wi-fi chip problems.
For home use? No problem at all.

Now the Surface Pro 4 is out, I would buy it. I hope that the Wi-fi chipset is replaced for something that works better.
