In the previous redactieblogs about ~ 2008 we show how the Event of 2008 was built up and what next to play such contests to experience. A match – on ~ also known as ‘compo’ – that we have not yet discussed, is the casemodcompo. Visitors of the Event have the past week had the time to meet their casemod to work, and a lot of kids have signed up for the casemodverkiezing. The mods to the compo participating, since Friday, the they on display and visitors are allowed on the most beautiful casemod vote.
Friday it was time again for the next race in the Camptentcup. This time had the participants an easy journey: a few meters walk, under a little bridge and then a call to tap. However, there were two minor complications: before they start if they must have a chair to sit in which is then just quite a times, and the surface was not exactly stable. Each team of four participants had the trail five times to travel, so completed. n of them, duizelend and well, two times to the bin.
With a shared fourth place at this part, may team T@C after the duizelbaan to the best three teams count. The fastest time of team T@C was 3.7 seconds and the second fastest run was in 4.0 seconds passed – and both times, coincidentally, by yours truly dropped. Saturday is the last race on the program, and the name ‘waterballonvolley’ promises much hilarity.
To give an idea of how the Tweakers@the Event tent looks like from the inside – we do not (yet) all price – below are photos of a number of workplaces of the T@C members. Some people take their whole equipment – such as a 40″ lcd tv, or a Playstation 3 with Rock Band, while others only their laptop and get carried away.
