And also the water supply is bad. From our faucets is hardly water, drinking water not to mention. Of course, the economic Situation is very bad. The people have only little money. How has the situation in Aleppo changed since the attacks of the Russian army?

Every day we experience violent attacks by different types of bombs and by the Russian Intervention, everything has become even worse. The government troops have always been on places specifically where many people reside – such as squares, schools, mosques. But it also has since then been increased and the number of victims is massively increased. We Doctors see, too, that the injuries to the fighters or victims of change, too, because the Russians apparently also other weapons and bombs. Unfortunately, there are also no warnings that these attacks just happen. And can be so fast also no one to hide – especially since not all the houses basement.

How does this affect the people?

The people don’t dare to out of the house. They are traumatized, they need psychological and psychiatric help. Children waking at night, screaming, pregnant women lose their Babies. Also the men are suffering very much under the Situation. On them rests a lot of pressure: you are trying to earn money. But they are also the ones that all the destruction and the dead of the city.

And how is the medical care?

There are too little medication and a few medical devices. But what particularly causes problems is that we have serious illnesses, like cancer, is not always sufficient to treat.

What to tell you people, what are afraid of now?
