“Sanctions are the wrong way”
With threats against individual States, you reach no solidarity-based solutions within the EU, said the SPD Deputy to the Bundestag Dietmar Nietan of the German wave. Also, the new Fences he dislikes.
In an Interview Deutsche Welle said Nietan, member of the European and external Affairs Committee is: “If we have a solidarity-based solution to the refugee issue, then we can not with Fears of extermination.” The threat of countries to impose sanctions against a Flüchtlingsverteilung be, hold it the wrong way, said Nietan.
In Brussels in the past few days frequently voices become loud, which recalled that many of the Eastern European States to the largest Nettoempfängern of EU funds count. Just these countries would now but refuse refugees.

EU without egoism required
Before the start of the EU summit on Thursday pleaded Dietmar Nietan therefore, a common European solution to the refugee issue. “New fences to build, as it is currently in several European countries, happens, is not the right way,” said Nietan. Now is a strong, common European Union without egoism asked.
Like many citizens in the 28 member States –
at least according to a study by the Bertelsmann Foundation: Then speak up 87 per cent of respondents to a community in securing the external borders of the EU. 79 percent want a fair distribution of asylum seekers to all countries of the European Union and also, 79 percent want the freedom to travel within the EU to protect. For the study, more than 11,500 people surveyed.
Merkel increasingly isolated
The political reality, however, is different:
Especially the countries of the Visegrad group, i.e. Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia – drive their plans forward, the so-called Balkan Route on the border of Greece to foreclose. And also Germany’s traditional ally, France, went on Ablehnungskurs against Merkel’s policies: Premier Manuel Valls had during a visit to the Munich security conference explained,
that France will not be a further redistribution of refugees in Europe part.
A policy of fences rejects the Federal government, however, categorically: Many European countries were short-sighted, criticized the SPD faction Leader Thomas Oppermann. He argues for a contingent solution to as many countries as possible to participate. Would be similar to Greece by the erection of new Fences left alone, this would be an indictment,” said Oppermann in the Second German television (ZDF).
