Verständig also points to support within the party for the representatives who have been the subject of exclusion cases. The Jewish Central Council has previously had no contact with the Sweden Democrats with reference to similar accusations of anti-Semitism.
Left Party leader Nooshi Dadgostar responds in a written comment to SVT, where she assures that the party acted clearly against anti-Semitism and expresses a willingness to dialogue with the Jewish Central Council. Aron Verständig welcomes that opening and sees positively the possibility of talks.
