The company plans to file for bankruptcy protection in the coming weeks. However, the hope is to be able to implement structural changes and save the chain itself.

TGI Friday's Swedish company was declared bankrupt and Friday's restaurants were closed in Stockholm.

Even the American restaurant giant Hooters has previously been rewritten for its financial concerns, according to Bloomberg. However, that chain does not exist in Sweden, because the business is illegal here.
