Foreign. Sweden, together with Ukraine, Canada and Great Britain, has filed a lawsuit against Iran at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

The countries demand that Iran be held responsible for the downing of the Ukrainian passenger plane PS752 in January 2020, in which 176 people died, including 17 Swedes.
– We demand that Iran's responsibility under international law for the downing be established and that the relatives of the victims receive compensation, said Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) during question time in the Riksdag, according to TT.
The plane was shot down accidentally shot down by Iranian air defense shortly after takeoff from Tehran on January 8, 2020.
