Developer id Software has released a trailer for Doom: The Dark Ages. This single-player first-person shooter, a prequel to 2016's Doom, contains fantasy elements. The game will be released in 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC.
The images show that gamers will again play as Doom Slayer, the main character from the previous Doom games. In this game, Slayer gets a flying mech: Atlan. With this mech you can destroy the biggest enemies in the game and conduct aerial battles. Id Software writes on its website that it is a single-player first-person shooter. For the time being, there is no information about a multiplayer mode. Doom: The Dark Ages will be released in 2025. An exact release date has not yet been announced.
