Foreign. Alternative for Germany has been excluded from the EU's Identity and Democracy (ID) group after friction with Le Pen's French National Assembly party.

National group announced earlier this week that it was breaking with the AFD after one of the German party members pointed out that not all members of the Waffen-SS were necessarily war criminals.
Now the AFD has been excluded from the joint group Identity and Democracy in The European Parliament.
– The AFD goes from provocation to provocation, Marine Le Pen said on French television after the vote.

Austrian FPÖ was one of two parties that voted for AFD to remain in the group.
AFD outwardly takes the decision lightly.
– We are convinced that we will be able to continue working with our partners in a joint parliamentary group after the election, says a spokesperson for party leader Alice Weidel according to Politico.
