Foreign. French soldiers are still struggling to control the Canucks who are rebelling on the island group of New Caledonia, where the indigenous people are protesting reduced privileges.

France plans to allow non-Canacks who have lived on the island for 10 years to vote in provincial elections, which many Canacks see as an attack on their privileges.
Riots have ravaged the archipelago for over a week and 600 heavily armed military has now been deployed by France according to The Guardian.
Flights to and from the island group have been canceled for several days and the French government has, among other things, shut down Tiktok, where the Canadians spread information to each other about what is going on.
So far, six people have died and around a hundred have been injured in the fighting.
