SEGA announces Sonic Rumble. It will be a Fall Guys-like battle royale game. The game will eventually be available for Android and iOS, but the Japanese developer has not yet shared a concrete release date.
Sonic Rumble is being developed in collaboration with Angry Birds maker Rovio, which has been owned by SEGA since last year. According to SEGA, the game features 'battleroyale challenges' for up to 32 players, who have to complete an obstacle course and collect rings. Gamers play as well-known Sonic characters. Although there is no concrete release date yet, SEGA will soon be holding a limited playtest, but it will be limited to the United States.
