Fujifilm GFX100 II 2.00

Fujifilm heeft voor zijn GFX100 II-digitale systeemcamera’s nieuwe firmware uitgebracht, met 2.00 als versienummer. Deze camera’s hebben een middenformaat-cmos-beeldsensor van 102 megapixel aan boord samen met de X-Processor 5 en zijn geschikt voor lenzen met een Fujifilm G-vatting. Deze update is ongeveer 125MB groot en kan via een geheugenkaartje op de camera worden gezet. De beknopte lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:

Version 2.00

The firmware update Ver.2.00 from Ver.1.20 incorporates the following issues:

1. Supports camera linkage enhanced in “FUJIFILM XApp” Ver. 2.0.0 or later.
   • Camera linkage enhancement by “Equipment” tab, with “FUJIFILM XApp”, Ver.2.0.0 or later, will be available for GFX100 II now.

     ・Number of lifetime shots
     ・MECHANICAL SHUTTER
     ・BATTERY AGE
     ・Number of days since the last sensor cleaning
     etc.
   • Camera firmware upgrade process becomes easier.
     The “FUJIFILM XApp” automatically downloads and transfer the revised firmware to the memory card in the camera in the background, so that you can upgrade the firmware anytime.
     Note-1: Background data transfer is performed while the camera and “FUJIFILM XApp” are connected via Wi-Fi.
     Note-2: Once the revised firmware is automatically downloaded, the firmware update information is displayed on the LCD, prompting the operator to update to the latest firmware.
     Note-3: This feature will be available from the next firmware update.
2. “FIRMWARE UPDATE” function has been added to the setup menu.
   Insert a memory card containing the new firmware into the camera and select “USER SETTING” in the “SET UP” menu to update the firmware.
   The current procedure for firmware update can also continue to be used as follows.
   ・Start the camera while holding down the DISP/BACK button to update the firmware.
   ・Connect to a smartphone application to update firmware.
3. Another minor bug is fixed.

Version 1.20

The firmware update Ver.1.20 from Ver.1.11 incorporates the following issues:

1. A “MULTI” button is added to the “Remote Rec Function” menu. Pressing this button splits the screen display into four sections, allowing you to watch Live Views of multiple cameras simultaneously and pressing the “SINGLE” button bring back to the single screen display.
2. A “Clean display mode” is added to the “Remote Rec Function” menu. When “Clean display mode” is selected, only the Live View is displayed.
3. Other minor bugs are fixed.
