The Ford Smart Energy Cup and the Scandinavian Cup were to continue on Saturday.
But the cold weather – it's down to minus 20 degrees in Östersund today – means that the organizers are forced to cancel the 10 kilometer races that would held during the day.
– It is always a difficult decision to make whether to cancel a ski competition that everyone is excited for and organized for, says competition leader Anders Sundin to ÖP.
However, Sunday's competition, 20 kilometer mass start, will be held as usual, according to the plan.
