“HTC presents the Desire 826 with Ultrapixel camera and Android 5.0”

HTC has released the Desire 826 will be presented, a smartphone with Android 5.0, 64bit-processor, and an Ultrapixel camera on the front. The unit seems to only come out in some Asian countries and the United States.

The Desire 826 is the first phone where HTC’s Ultrapixel camera with a resolution of 4.1 megapixels, which, inter alia, used in the One M7 and One M8, on the front of the device has been placed. On the back is a more usual camera with a resolution of 13 megapixel.

The device is also the first HTC that out-of-the-box feature of Android 5.0. From Lollipop can Android in 64bit running, and there makes the manufacturer use by in the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615-soc. This soc supports 64bit with eight Cortex A53-processor cores.

The Desire 826 has a 5.5″lcd with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, which the screen is slightly larger than that of the recently released Desire Eye. The design with a colored plastic housing does to mind that of the Eye. The Desire 826 seems only to come in countries like India and the United States; that happens later this month. HTC has yet published anything about any Dutch or Belgian release for this device. Also the price is still unknown.
