Tesla is experimenting with the opening of its Supercharger network also to cars of other brands. As we know, the manufacturer had started with a pilot project in the Netherlands in November 2021. Specifically, it had opened some stations for fast charging to all electric. However, the carmaker had made it known that, over time, this pilot project would also be extended to other countries.
In December the news arrived that the American brand was discussing with the authorities; of Norway to open Superchargers to all other battery-powered cars in this country. Apparently the discussions seem to have had a positive outcome. The local press reports, in fact, that electric cars of other brands have been intercepted to recharge at Tesla's Superchargers. In particular, a video shot by the local portal elbil24 (which we report in SOURCE) has taken an Audi e-tron in charge at a Supercharger near Oslo .
No comments from Tesla arrived and on the website and app of the manufacturer, there are no other Superchargers open to third parties other than those already; licensed in the Netherlands. Most likely, the findings of the Norwegian press & egrave; a test carried out to verify compatibility; of the recharging points with the other electric ones. Following the publication of the report, elbil24 received several other reports of tests at additional Superchargers in Norway.
Tests that could be the signal that the Supercharger network in Norway is really missing little . Probably, as happened in Holland, we will proceed; gradually, with only a handful of stations opening. All that remains is to wait for the next moves by the American manufacturer. At that point it will be; It is also interesting to find out what the top-up prices will be . In the Netherlands, in fact, non-Tesla users have to pay a higher rate; expensive compared to those who have an American electric car.
The center of gravity of the power supply service is; the Tesla app . The charging session for non-Tesla users, in fact, is managed through this application.
